That's Lazy

The C&C Girls headed out to Toronto's hotspot Bloke & 4th to preview the Fall 2013 collection of everyone's favourite comfortable Lazypants.  The girls got to enjoy fruity cocktails and delicious treats provided by The Sweetest Tart as they previewed the new styles, washes, colours and fabrics. The gentlemen sipped on Amsterdam 416 Beer and Three Olives Vodka with vitaminwater while they browsed the racks. The girls got to check out the highly anticipated new collection before it hits store shelves.
The brand has made more colours available from royal blue, fuchsia and charcoal to navy, black and forest green. Returning to the Core Collection is the Original French Fleece in grey and black . The Skinny French Fleece is also back by popular demand but this time new hardware has been added with zippers on the pockets which was a C &C Favourite. French Fleece Hoodies are available in green, red and purple. Building on the initial success of the brands basics, the Three Thread Original has gone acid wash with charcoal, royal blue and purple. Other new prints include Camouflage, American Flag and stone wash grey, purple, red, turquoise and blue.  For stone wash sets there is pink, red, purple and green. Rounding out the new washes is tie dye with both Hoodie and Skinny in turquoise, purple, green, pink, black and white.  As for fabrics, Lazypants has created French Fleece Herringbone which can be worn in the Skinny, Three Thread Original, Hoodie and even the Lazy Blanket.

Fun in the Sun at Boots & Hearts

The C&C girls attended the sold out 2013 Boots and Hearts Music Festival in Bowmanville, ON for the August long weekend which headlined amazing acts like Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert. The girls enjoyed a weekend with fellow cowboys and cowgirls decked out in cowboy boots and hats while two-stepping to some of the finest in country music. The weekend was a true country party that included tailgating and two-stepping in the mud to some amazing karaoke contests and Canadian Country showcasing acts… I can’t think of a better way to spend the long weekend!

The Festival started off strong Friday night with amazing performances by Autumn Hill, Dean Brody and headliner Jason Aldean (our favourite performance of the weekend), followed by fireworks and a dance party hosted by KX country FM. It was “My Kinda Party”. Saturday we were up, close and personal with the handsome Chad Brownlee who took the main stage followed by Joe Joe Joe Diffie, The Band Perry, and Rascal Flatts who capped the night off. The crowd was massive and the party took a new level of fun as the camp grounds had finally dried up. Rain or shine the weekend was a hit and had fun by all.

The crowd got a glimpse of the hottest country singers as they entered and exited the premises some flown in by helicopters or waved from there bus. By Sunday the parking lot party was going stronger than ever that we even invited Miranda Lambert via twitter to join our picnic of fried foods and beer and wine.

Sunday morning started with a Gospel Brunch with Duck Dynasty followed by memorable performances by Canada's own Jason Blaine, Tate Stevens, Dierks Bentley with headliner Miranda Lambert. Miranda Lambert was the best female act of the weekend. She's so powerful and really knows how to entertain a crowd with her "crazy girl" mentality.  I can guarantee everyone left with a stronger bond and love for country music. Overall it was a memorable weekend and can't wait to hear the lineup for 2014.  We want to send out a big thank you to the volunteers and media crews that organized this amazing event!
