Chandeliers and Champagne's Jessie Sulidis and Leah Feeley headed to the windy city this past weekend and discovered life as a Chicagoan. What an amazing city! It's so similar to Toronto with amazing nightlife, beautiful sandy beach right in the city, fine dining, sightseeing and of course the infamous Chicago deep dish pizza.   We joined fellow Bachelor and Bachelorette alumni for a trip of a lifetime! Over 30 cast members from the ABC hit reality series enjoyed a camera-free adventure.

The weekend festivities kicked off on Thursday when we arrived for Deep Dish Pizza at Lous Malnati's. We enjoyed appetizers and, of course, couldn't resist the traditional deep dish pizza Chicago is best known for. It was delicious. We sat on the patio before heading over to Champagne Thursdays' at Pops for Champagne. It's a great little Champagne bar with a classy atmosphere and delicious menu.  Pops is definitely a classy lounge to visit for a girls' night out.

On Friday we headed for brunch to Bridge House Tavern and had our food right on the water. The food was delicious and great large portions. It makes a great date spot as it's romantically located right on the water with an amazing view.  During the afternoon we hit the shops of Michigan Ave and the Water Tower where we found our favourite shop TOPSHOP and Akira! To finish off the perfect day we went to the JWMarriott lobby bar to pre-drink with cast mates before heading to Three Forks Steakhouse. Three Forks Steakhouse was absolutely amazing. The food was brilliantly cooked and the atmosphere was posh and elegant. I suggest the Grilled Sea Bass alongside the bacon wrapped scallops! Mouth watering. To conclude the evening we headed  over to Rockit Bar where we danced all night to amazing tunes. The DJ threw down a mixture of old skool Hip Hop, R&B, with some new age top 40 mix. It was by far our favourite nightlife spot of Chicago.

On Saturday we started our morning off on a sweet note with a cupcake crawl getting spoiled with goodies from Swirlz Cupcakes, RealBeanz (amazing coffee from Bachelorette Jenna Burke) and Chocolate Bark Bakery cake pops. Cupcake crawls are a must-do while visiting Chicago. I've never tasted better cupcake icing than that of Swirlz. After the cupcake crawl we acted like a true Chicago native and headed to cheer on the Cubs via Down the Line Rooftops. What a great way to enjoy a baseball game. We sat in a comfy booth with unlimited drinks and food all  afternoon cheering on the Cubs! This is the place to watch the game.  To finish a perfect day, we headed to Scoozi's for a delicious Italian meal and then over to Mercer to dance and start the nightlife festivities.

To complete an amazing trip we headed to Market Bar on Sunday for their bottomless mimosas and Bloody Mary's before heading to Castaways at North Beach for a fun afternoon of beach volleyball and drinks with the Bachelor family.  I'd like to send a big thank you to Bachelor/Bachelor Pad alumni Nikki Kaapke for organizing the entire trip and showing us what a great city Chicago is. We can't wait to go back and do it all again.
